1. What this policy covers
This policy describes how Dealer Overclock handles information collected through this website, dealeroverclock.com. It does not cover our customers' own websites, which are governed by those businesses' own privacy policies. It also covers the anonymous measurement feature described in Section 3, which applies on any dealership website where that feature is enabled; beyond that feature, this policy does not extend to our customers' own websites.
2. What the booking form collects
Only one form on this site collects anything at all: the booking form on the Book a call page. When you submit it, we receive:
- your name;
- the website address you enter;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide one (the field is optional);
- which page you submitted from, and how long the form was open before you submitted it. The timing value and one hidden field that a person never fills in are used only to filter out automated submissions.
We do not ask for and do not want payment details, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information. Please do not send them to us.
3. The measurement feature
Some dealership websites that work with Dealer Overclock enable an additional, anonymous measurement feature on their own website. When enabled, a visitor's browser is assigned two randomly generated identifiers: one that stays the same across visits, and one that resets each time a new browsing session starts. Neither identifier is tied to a name, an email address, or any other personal information. We do not link either one to an individual, and nothing about how this feature works ties it back to one. It is used only to record anonymous interaction signals -- such as page views, form submissions, and phone number clicks -- for the sole purpose of measuring aggregate results for that dealership.
Raw records are kept for 60 days and then deleted. Monthly summary counts are kept longer, but contain no detail about any individual visitor. This feature does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information, and it is never combined with the booking form data described in Section 2. As with any request to a website this feature runs on, the hosting platform's own server logs may record an IP address alongside it (see Section 6) -- we do not use that to identify or profile a visitor. Whether this feature is enabled on a given website is that dealership's own decision, disclosed through that dealership's own privacy policy.
4. What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no session recording, and no tracking pixels. Its fonts are served from this site rather than requested from a third party, so loading a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else. There is no account to create and no profile of you to build.
5. How we use it
To reply to you and to arrange the call you asked for. If you give us a phone number, we may use it to reach you about your enquiry or to hold a call you have already scheduled with us. We do not run marketing calls or text campaigns, and we do not add you to a mailing list from this form.
6. Where it goes
A submission becomes two emails: a notification to us, and a confirmation to you. We keep no database. The message sitting in our inbox is the only copy that exists.
Two service providers are involved in that:
- Vercel hosts this website and processes the form request.
- Resend delivers the two emails.
Like any web host, Vercel records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses. Those logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and debugging, are retained only briefly by the host, and are not used to track or profile visitors.
7. What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not trade, rent, or hand it to data brokers, and we do not disclose it to anyone beyond the two service providers named above, except where the law requires it of us.
8. How long we keep it
For as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards for our own business records. Ask us to delete it and we will delete the correspondence, subject to anything we are required to retain.
9. Your choices
Write to contact@dealeroverclock.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to tell us to stop contacting you. We will act on it. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will not ask you for more information than that takes.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the revision date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold: contact@dealeroverclock.com.
